Hear from our past conference participants
Attending the International Public Health Conference 2019 (Health Conf 2019) is a great learning experience for me. Being a specialist, an obstetrician gynecologist accustomed to highly specialize medical conferences, joining a conference with a thrust of Public Health gave me a different perspective on health issues. The conference allowed me to interact with health professionals from different fields and what is more important, those mainly from my world region- Southeast Asia. I appreciated all the sessions but the poster sessions made a big impact on me. I hope to join future conferences such as this and make meaningful collaborative work with my international colleagues.
It gives me immense pleasure to express my experiences regarding 2nd International Conference on Public Health 2019 (Health Conf 2019) held on 19th and 20th March in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The theme of conference "Sustainable Developmental Goals: Transforming Aspirations into Action for Human Health" was most appropriate in addressing the public health and related issues in global perspective. It provided a global platform for researchers, academicians and planners from diverse and multidisciplinary fields to share their research work, experiences and views for meaningful solutions and preparing road map for transforming aspirations into action for human health. The scientific sessions were well designed and each participant was given appropriate time for presentation and fruitful discussions were held.
I was invited by the conference organizers of the "Malaysia 2019 Public Health conference" to make an oral presentation on RHCS. In addition to the invitation, the organizers also requested me to chair one of sessions. In general, sessions from the first to the last days were well planned and conducted. Events all started on schedule; relevant parties including presenters and observers were very punctual; in cases of "no shows", rescheduling was conducted immediately; snacks and drinks were quite adequate; and the entire social dynamics including networking were all well synchronized. At a personal and professional level, I went and shared my positive experience and congratulatory compliments with the organizing committee.
