Final thing I'm going to say is if you get one and realize you aren't willing to invest the time, resources, and energy, and decide to get rid of it, it will probably go to somewhere where they will slowly die or get euthanized, best case scenario is they go to a rescue where they turn out to be someone else's problem. You should correct your post for Arkansas. You can buy a fox from a USDA breeder as well as import from out of state. Though there are 19 states that are prohibited from importing. You may own a bobcat in Tennessee. I know a reputable USDA breeder who can legally sell them.

If you cross state lines with it, your permit will no longer cover you and the sloth will be confiscated.
What will you do if you get sick or hurt? Your permit only covers you. If the authorities discover that you are no longer in control of your sloth, they will confiscate it, they will have no idea of what it needs, and it will probably die because they tried to feed it dog food.
